Loco Meals - Chicken Schnitzel

Cooking Instructions:

Cooking method 1: On the stove

  1. Defrost: 30mins - 1 hour* (Read our blog on "How to defrost food safely")
  2. Put a little oil on your frying pan and then add a knob of butter (about 80g)
  3. Fry 7-8 minutes on each side on medium low heat 
  4. Remove from heat when the crust is golden brown and the chicken is cooked through
  5. Allow the Chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving
  6. While the Chicken is resting, heat up the sauce in a sauce pan
  7. Pour over Chicken or use it as a dipping sauce 
  8. Best serve with a side of salad or pasta

Cooking method 2: In the Oven

  1. Defrost: 30mins - 1 hour* (Read our blog on "How to defrost food safely")
  2. Preheat oven to 170c
  3. Place a baking paper in your baking tray
  4. Put your chicken on the baking paper
  5. Spray a little oil over the chicken or place a knob of butter (80g) on it 
  6. Bake for 10-15 mins, until chicken is cooked through
  7. Remove from the oven and allow the chicken to rest
  8. While the chicken is resting, heat up your sauce
  9. Pour it over your chicken or use it as a dipping sauce
  10. Best serve with a salad, or over pasta

  • Chicken - antibiotics and hormone free
  • We used chicken thigh in this recipe
  • Bread crumbs
  • Flour
  • Eggs
  • Salt 
  • Pepper


Best kept frozen
